David Millar was born in Malta in 1977. He was won stages of the Tour de France and Tour of Spain. He is now a part-owner of the Garmin-Chipotle team and a key figure of the World Anti-doping Agency's athletes committee. Jeremy Whittle's Bad Blood: the Secret Life of the Tour de France was shortlisted for the William Hill Sports Book of the Year in 2008.
