Jim Murray's Whisky Bible Summary

Jim Murray's Whisky Bible: 2003 by Jim Murray

Jim Murray's Whisky Bible will be like no other book ever published on the subject of whisky. This is an annual, published in time for Christmas and taking account of the important developments in the world of whisky: new brands and distilleries, changes in legislation, award winners, etc. What will make the book unique, however, will be the tasting notes on over 1,500 different brands. The author has travelled around the world experiencing whisky from distilleries as far-flung as Pakistan and Finland, as well as the world-leaders, Scotland, Ireland, Japan and the United States of America. He is acknowledged as a world leader when it comes to describing the tastes and sensations to be enjoyed sampling the different whiskies available today. His infectious and passionate style instantly singles him out as an exceptional writing talent.
