About Margaret Mayo
Margaret Mayo lives in Brighton with her husband. As a mother, grandmother and former teacher, she has used her wide range of experience to retell some of the most well-loved tales from different parts of the world. Margaret has written several books for Orchard, including the popular The Orchard Book of the Unicorn and Other Magical Animals and The Orchard Book of Magical Tales. Philip Norman lives in France with his wife and children. The First Fairy Tales series is the first series he has illustrated for Orchard, although he has worked on several extremely successful books for other publishers.
