The Nurse Prescribers' Formulary is for use by district nurses and specialist community public health nurses (including health visitors) who have received nurse prescriber training, and is designed for use with the British National Formulary. The NPF provides an overview of some common conditions together with the details of the medicines that can be prescribed by community practitioner nurse prescribers.
