"One L" is an account of the author's first year at Harvard Law School, where all freshmen were dubbed "One L's". Scott Turow describes the lives of ambitious students struggling to keep pace in an intensely competitive and hard-working environment, and facing the dilemma of ethics versus competition. This reissue contains an epilogue which updates his story. The author was a Stegner Fellow in creative writing at Stanford before attending Harvard Law School. He is the author of "Presumed Innocent".
