1874. 278 pages. No dust jacket. Tan pictorial cloth boards with gilt lettering. Pages are noticeably tanned and thumbed at the edges, with some moderate foxing throughout. Cracks to guttering throughout, heavier between pages 16-17 and pages 256-257. Binding has remained firm. Corners are creased and dogeared in places. Pages are a little rough cut. Boards are a little rub worn with some slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped and spine ends are a little crushed. Small hole to top of front hinge, causing cloth to fray and binding underneath exposed. Some thumb and handling marks all over with light tanning to spine and edges. Book has slight forward lean.
