1847. 729 pages. No dust jacket. Half bound leather with marbled paper covered boards. Contains black and white in text illustrations and plates. Volume VI. Pages are moderately tanned with mild foxing throughout. Cracks to rear hinge, exposing netting. Slight crinkling to paper at gutters, however binding remains firm. Illustrations and plates are moderately tanned with some foxing. Label to front pastedown. Thumb-marking present throughout. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper. Boards have noticeable edge wear with corner bumping. Leather peeling to corners, edges and spine. Visible tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened. Book has a slight backward lean. Some scratches to all.
