1767. 480 pages. No dust jacket. Quarter leather brown marbled boards with faded lettering. Text is in French. Pages remain reasonably bright with rough cut edges, light cracking to hinges and moderate water staining inside. Moderate foxing throughout and scuffing to several pages but no text is effected. Inscription to the ffep. Binding is firm with moderate corner bumping and rubbing around the edges of the boards. Spine is tanned with moderate scuffing and splitting to the edges at bottom end. Leather to spine is heavily chipped and splitting to all edges. Gilt barely legible, and small areas of loss to bottom half. Some tape and pasted down paper has been used to reinforce binding at top edge of front boards.
