Heavy tanning and foxing, with marking to pages and text block edges. Cracks to guttering throughout, with exposed binding thread. Severe cracking to hinges, causing boards to be loose. Frontispiece is detached but still present. Half title page is loose and has inscriptions to front. Endpapers are missing. Front board is almost detached, joining just one binding thread to top. Heavy rubbing and tanning overall. Heavy bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Large split to spine joints, with warping to both surfaces. Small area of loss to spine end and heavy peeling to corners.
