Slight crinkling to paper at gutters, however binding remains firm. Plates are moderately tanned with some foxing. Rear endpaper is wrinkled. Thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have heavy edge wear with corner bumping. Moderate tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened. Bleaching and mottling to all surfaces. Book is warped. Unclipped jacket. Panels have heavy edge wear with chips, tears and creasing. Substantial area of loss to all surfaces. Visible tanning to spine. Brown staining with black marks to panels.
