1827. 325 pages. Half bound leather with marbled paper covered boards. Volume IV. Pages are moderately tanned with noticeable foxing throughout. Heavier to endpapers and pastedowns. Cracks to hinges, exposing binding thread. Slight crinkling to paper at gutters, however binding remains firm. Ownership plate to front pastedown. Water marks to fore edge, text is not affected. Thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have heavy edge wear with corner bumping. Leather peeling to corners, edges and spine with loss to spine label. Visible tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened. Slightly bowed and forward leaning.
